Project Description
A Prete Construction and Vase Management (Construction Managers), on behalf of The Glendower Group, Inc., Elm City Communities, and Housing Authority of the City of New Haven (Owner), redeveloped a ten-story high-rise apartment consisting of 150 studio and one-bedroom apartments. It serves residents with disabilities and those who are 62 years of age or older. The project was approximately 66,000 square feet and work consisted of abatement, site work, rehab of elevators, rehab and replacement of kitchen units, new floors, paint, windows, and door replacement throughout. There were also MEP upgrades that included new switch gears, as well as generator and mini split systems. The total construction cost was approximately $11 million, which included public and private funds.
